Red Tent instructors lead structured group sessions in local correctional facilities, helping participants develop positive coping skills and practical strategies for personal growth. The program meets 2 days/week for 6 weeks, with 3 to 4-hour sessions that serve both sentenced and unsentenced individuals in Pinellas and Hillsborough Counties.
Participants explore past life experiences, identify patterns in decision-making, and create a personal plan to support long-term change. Each individual gains a “toolbox” of skills and resources focused on improving well-being, stability, and future success.
After release, participants stay connected to Red Tent through ongoing support, including behavioral health counseling, employment assistance, and family-focused services—building a foundation for continued reintegration and personal development.
