A Foundation for Recovery and Independence
At the Mustard Seed Inn, we believe recovery is more than overcoming challenges—it’s about building a life filled with stability, purpose, and hope.
Since 1991, the Mustard Seed Inn has provided safe, supportive transitional housing for homeless adults who have begun their recovery from alcohol or drug use and/or are living with mental health issues. Certified by the Florida Association of Recovery Residences (FARR) in cooperation with the Department of Children and Families, our program meets the highest standards for recovery residences in Florida.
Our 70-bed facility offers 24/7 transitional living in a gender-segregated environment, ensuring both safety and privacy. Here, residents find more than just a place to stay—they gain access to the following services designed to help them rebuild their lives:
- A Community that Understands the Recovery Journey
At Mustard Seed Inn, residents are surrounded by peers, staff, and mentors who truly understand the challenges of recovery and rebuilding life after homelessness. It’s a safe and judgment-free space where individuals can share experiences, offer encouragement, celebrate successes, and know they are not alone in their journey.
- Recovery Support Services
Residents have access to a full range of resources designed to strengthen and sustain recovery including:- Peer mentoring from individuals who have walked the same path.
- Relapse prevention planning.
- Connection to 12-step or other recovery groups.
- Guidance in developing healthy coping skills for daily life.
- Individualized Case Management
Each resident works one-on-one with a dedicated case manager to create a personalized plan for success.
