Camp Mariposa® St. Petersburg is a year-round addiction prevention and mentoring program for children ages 9-12 affected by the substance use of a family member. Youth attend six weekend-long camps during the year. At camp, youth participate in fun, traditional camp activities such as swimming, challenge courses and making smores around a campfire. They also attend education and support sessions to learn critical life skills and self-care.
Camp Mariposa® St. Petersburg offers additional social and recreational activities such as pool parties, sporting events and bowling. These events provide youth, their families and mentors additional opportunities to connect and have fun.
All program activities are offered free of charge to families meeting the Camp Mariposa enrollment criteria.
Camp Mariposa St. Petersburg is part of the national Camp Mariposa® network, a program of Eluna. Learn more at elunanetwork.org.
